Are we sure this is John-117? There is no actual verification as to who it is exactly. It is just a Mark VI model to me, not John in particular.--<span style="color:black; font-family:Verdana">Fluffy</span><span style="color:gray; font-family:Verdana">Emo</span><span style="color:black; font-family:Verdana">Penguin</span><small>(<span style="color:gray">ice quack!</span>)</small> 15:34, 28 December 2010 (EST)

:I question this being an easter egg at all. I believe it's more of a forgotten reference model than an egg for us to find. But you are at the very least, correct. Just like with the Cryo Chamber, we cannot actually determine if this is a "statue" of the Master Chief. ::::It being the Mark VI model doesn't prove much of anything. Maybe Bungie was using it as a reference since they already had it. Plus, the fact that you can customize Noble Six may mean there isn't a typical default model. Also, as far as I remember, Bungie hasn't made any easter eggs that require the use of a glitch to see. Bungie's easter eggs always clearly show intent. From the fact that it is white to the fact that it is in its default pose shows this was more of a technical oversight than anything else. But still, how would that cause it to be a glitch?--Blahmarrow 18:50, 4 April 2011 (EDT) | But still, how would that cause it to be a glitch?--Blahmarrow 18:50, 4 April 2011 (EDT)
I Agree with XRoadToDawnX with this one. seeing as how it's in the static, default pose, untextured and extremely small, it seems to me that it's just a Technical oversight. One of my Interesting, albeit, very unlikely theories is that this model might be a reference to randomly generate the armor permutations of the dead SPARTANs that you see strewn throughout the gameplay area, as with each play-through of that level, each dead SPARTAN has different armor permutations. But as I said it's just a theory as I have no solid evidence to go by. Kboy21 21:06, 8 October 2011 (EDT)
