I've seen Brute Minors wield Brute Shots all the time in Halo 2. I also believe that Brute Minors are the Brutes that have no armor platings on their arms. I think that the helmet doesn't make a difference. The only already dead corpses found in the game are the ones with the lowest rank and i've come across brute corpses that have helmets on them. Also in the cutscenes, Brutes have been known to have their helmets dissappear and reappear at times. I don't think this is a glitch because it happens all the time. I've noticed it as well. Why would the lowest rank get the heaviest weapons in the group? Wouldn't it be better to give it to a more experienced brute? I should look further into this matter. Perhaps they use the tactic where weaker allies carry heavier weapons to increase their level of danger? It just doesn't seem right. Also the minors get to pilot the Phantoms.  Every destroyed phantom has a green armored brute body.  Perhaps the greenish color means they aren't the lowest but the special weapons/vehicle operators like the grunts.

==Jump Pack==
I have seen scenes where brute minors use jump packs all the time and I mention it in the article wet someone gets rid of the info. If some one disagrees, please tell me.

In the article it stands that halo 3 brutes can take more damage than the halo 2 ones this is not true!The ones in halo2 can take more than twice the amaunt of damage than the halo 3 ones!

Why do the minors have armor lock even though they have non-powered armor? I would understand if it was the armor from halo 3, but they have only a head piece, something on their balls. :Gameplay reasons. The mechanic is probably located on the "something on their balls". The armor on their groin area probably covers the mechanic. Alternatively, its the armor on their biceps.
