I was always under the impression that the Prophets themselves destroyed their homeworld, using the weapons of the Keyship, perhaps from some last vindictive spite. Given the weapons available to a Forerunner ship, it's hardly impossible that it could have sent their home star into supernova. Is there anything to support or ddisprove this in Cryptum or other recent material? -- <b><font color=indigo>Specops306</font></b> <u><i><font color=blue>Autocrat</font></i></u> <u><i><font color=purple>Qur'a 'Morhek</font></i></u> 18:55, 11 January 2011 (EST)

Not really, Cryptum takes place 100,000+ years before the planet was destroyed. It was wiped clean by a Halo, but that was before the San'Shyuum were reseeded after the war.SPARTAN-347 18:59, 11 January 2011 (EST)

Broken Circle never explicitly states Plaon is the only moon of Janjur Qom, but it is referred to as "the moon". Mythos shows two moons in the planet's sky, however. So... Are there two? Were there just two during the War of Wills and one was destroyed? You guys tell me. -Japeth555

:I suspect it's a mistake. Waypoint lists it as the only moon and given how everything else for Janjur Qom isn't listed, I think they would list the second moon if they were to list one. Likewise, Tribute's moon which we didn't know existed was also listed on Waypoint. It could also be (unlikely) another planet, as if I recall correctly, the inner planets in the system are in close orbit. --<span style="color: #2B1AAA;">NightHammer</span><span style="color: #2B1AAA;">(talk)</span><span style="color: #2B1AAA;">(contribs)</span> 16:04, 15 September 2016 (EDT)
::I also think it's a mistake, similar to how Halo: Fall of Reach depicted Eridanus II with two moons. It's very unlikely we'd see two planets that close to each other unless the scale is exaggerated for artistic flourish. --Jugus (talk) 23:57, 15 September 2016 (EDT)
