What I dont get is how to keep the skull without starting the level over if you get killed in sniper alley after you pick up the skull. I have gone to the last checkpoint every time I am waiting to respawn after being killed, but it doesnt work for me. When you pick it up, the screen should flash white, most of your HUD will disappear, and the skull's name (if any) will appear in the upper left corner of the screen.
