Cortana's Memory[edit]

It says that they dont have their original's memory yet Cortana (whom was made using a Flash Clone of Dr. Halsey) is heard using quotes from Halsey in Halo 3. Dragonblaze-052 07:27, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

I think that's different because it was a very specific clone, in that it was a select organ as opposed to the whole body. --Dragonclaws(talk) 19:16, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
i think thats just what official documents say, i think A.I.s with memories of the original are destroyed. And they pretend it never happened, i think they just assume the A.I. is rampant. I am pretty sure they can potentially have memory its just not supposed to happen ralok 04:37, November 15, 2009 (UTC)
i think it's completely impossible for an AI like cortana who as created form cloned brain to have any memories of the original, since the brain is a clone, the only "real" similarity that it has with the original is the DNA, in order for cortana to have the memories of Dr. Halsey, the neural/electrical patterns and brain waves would have to be somehow copied form her brain and then "written/burned" on the cloned brain, wich in my opinion is a completely unnecessary work for the "simple" creation of AI's...--Fipas 21:16, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

Spartan II clone memories[edit]

This line cites Halo:Glasslands but does not give a page number. "This technique was used to create identical clones of the SPARTAN-II candidates, which replaced the children after the candidates were abducted from their homes. Most of the flash clones quickly died natural deaths, which were explained as preexisting genetic disorders,[7]" Can someone find the exact part of the book where it says the Spartan II clones had memories implanted?
