| I agree with The Storm 59, as far as I can tell (this is mostly speculation)a file wouldn't include the elite/brute minor; that would be a lance. From what I've seen, a file is really just a lance without its commander (ex: a lance contains an elite minor, a grunt major and three grunt minors. Take away the elite minor and you have a file, led by the grunt major).
