| The page says it itself: When the term "equipment" is used, it usually refers to the items introduced in Halo 3. Perhaps we ought to create a separate page titled "power-ups" and use this page exlusively for the Halo 3 items you could pick up and wait to use?--D9328 (talk) 17:14, 8 January 2018 (EST)d9328

| :Hmmm you are probably right for us to split the page. Halo 3's normal equipment is called "Deployable Equipment" in the first visual guide.--CIA391 (talk) 18:13, 8 January 2018 (EST)

| ::I think a rework of the article is needed than a split-off. As D9328 correctly pointed out, for matchmaking, only Halo 3 uses Equipment/Deployable Equipment whereas Halo CE and Halo 2 use power-ups while Halo: Reach onwards uses Armour Abilities. This article ought to be rewritten to only refer to those in Halo 3 since we've already covered power-up and armour abilities for other Halo titles. — subtank 12:40, 9 January 2018 (EST)
