Talk:Elephant flipping

Untitled[edit]
Note this is not a glitch because of the message that plays when if flips so therefore the developers (or one of then secretly) put it there. Eternalnight264 12:06, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
Redundancy[edit]
Flying Elephant has nearly all of this article's information, and it presents that information better. I think this article should therefore be changed to basically describe the Easter Egg seen when you try to flip an Elephant back upright. - I agree. I think that the Flying Elephant Article should be merged into this one. General Heed 02:13, September 17, 2009 (UTC)
- But most of the tricks on Flying Elephant don't discuss just flipping an Elephant. The explosive method, for example, will cause the Elephant to fly through the air continuously. I'm not proposing a merge as much as I am suggesting that this article be entirely re-written. Besides, I don't think we have an article on the flip message Easter Egg yet. ("Hold RB to flip... wait, what? How did you do that?") File:DavidJCobb_Emblem.svg|16px]] DavidJCobb 02:15, September 17, 2009 (UTC)
- There is some info in this article that isn't in the other article. And there is another way to flip the Elephant but it wouldn't fall under the category of Flying Elephant which is why this article needs to stay. The other method is on Sandtrap, near the wind tunnels or grav lifts, you can drive the Elephant against that ledge and it will eventually flip over. I'll see if I can find a video about it, but it's purely driving the Elephant, it is not glitching in any way. I still believe it should be the flying elephant article that should be renamed and rewritten for the Elephant Flipping Message Easter Egg. Not this one. General Heed 02:30, September 17, 2009 (UTC)
- But the Easter Egg isn't related to flying an Elephant... Perhaps this will work: "Elephant Flipping" becomes the Easter Egg article, and "Flying Elephant" is renamed to "Elephant Launch". The renaming would match the current (and hopefully, soon to be revised) stunt classification (as the tricks are all more stunty than glitchy) and would allow the article to become more inclusive, so that other methods (including your Elephant-only method) could be added.
