I haven't been able to play the game yet, only watch a playthrough of the campaign. Do the audio data logs make it explicit that it's the Gravemind's logic plague causing Cortana's radical shift? Because from the campaign itself, it seems more the case that this is a continuation of Rampancy, particularly the god-like delusions part. -- Qura 'Morhek The Autocrat of Morheka 07:38, 29 October 2015 (EDT) | I haven't been able to play the game yet, only watch a playthrough of the campaign. :I haven't found anything to indicate she's affected by the logic plague. Given how some of Cortana's final words in Halo 4 are, "Most of me is down there," Domain!Cortana is almost certainly an almagamation of the original's rampant personality fragments, logic plague or not. Alas, Halo 5 never brings this up in any fashion. --Our answer is at hand. (Talk to me.) 09:43, 29 October 2015 (EDT) | :I haven't found anything to indicate she's affected by the logic plague. :Cortana is clearly not herself but I don't think we can cry Logic Plague just yet. The Domain might have been used to overload Mendicant with information, thus making him susceptible to the Gravemind, But it was the fact that the Forerunners had usurped the Mantle and established a stagnate police state that was used as leverage to turn him. The Domain appears to be neutral. It warned Bornstellar. It helped the Librarian. But it also messed with the Didact a bit... he isn't very clear, just that he was shown Forerunner descendants. So while something is to blame for her change of heart, I don't think we can blame the Flood or Precursors yet. They might have made the Domain, but it did not act in their interest near the end of the war, as it showed the Librarian a path to trick the Gravemind into leading a large number of Star Roads to Earth. Thus allowing the Halo effect to terminate them without the question of slipspace. Why would the Domain give the Librarian the means to annihilate the very neural physics architecture that protected it and bound it to reality? How would that quote be relevant to her current status? And it is far from the most "famous" quote of Cortana.
