The trivia seems to suggest that the Cairo is not actually above Egypt's capital. Why should it be?? So the MAC stations are named after prominent cities on Earth. Doesn't mean they have to be right over their namesake. If it wasn't commonly known, "geosynchronous" just means the station stays ina fixed position in orbit over a particular area on the surface of the Earth. It by no means implies Cairo Station has to be above Cairo, Egypt.
