:I noticed that many of the armor callouts we put into the Halo 4 Visual Guide have not yet been represented on Halopedia. I would however think it's overkill to make a page dedicated to something you can't write more than a single sentence about. It would be far more useful I think if this entry for instance was just a side note on the page for SPI armor rather than its own topic. For instance, the Recon visor type is the APL-72 (I know without even looking it up as it's a personal Easter egg of mine in the book). I wouldn't expect a page devoted to the APL-72 visor, but it would be perfectly fine as a mention on the Recon armor page. Just my 2 cents. -ScaleMaster117 (talk) 21:33, 13 September 2016 (EDT)
::Well thankfully in regards to armor. I put majority of those callouts in some form up onto Halopedia xD Hence why I noted the similar make up between the "BA-55901/PLMD" and so many other armor parts in that Guide(I would guess you had a say in that). Its why I had to ask if pages should be made on them after this page was made, cause if this deserves a page. Then everything deserves a page. And I go crazy with the ammount of pages I have to make. XD
::Regardless I do agree. If more info comes into play about a certain part. Then perhaps we can make a page, but right now no. Hopefully others agree and I can breath a sigh of relief.
::Interesting to know that the APL-72 recon visor began as an personal easter egg. Thats rad. I did note the visor suite changed between generations.-CIA391 (talk) 21:59, 13 September 2016 (EDT)
:::I had a handful of contributions among the minor armor callouts where needed, but I specifically asked that the Recon visor itself be named that. (It's the initials and birth year of a friend of mine, in case you were wondering.) I have many Easter eggs throughout both guides. Not much in Mythos though, by me anyway. -ScaleMaster117 (talk) 22:47, 13 September 2016 (EDT)
Why not, for example, a page about rebreathers that would include the multiple types, such as the R-42 case-filter, the YV-65, the PZ-238, etc.? -Japeth555
:I agree that in cases like this, where an article has no unique information and only refers to a single subject, it would be much more productive to only list the part in the parent article (in this case SPI armor). If we had, for example, technical specifications or other info on the battery it would warrant an article, but as it stands, it feels a bit roundabout compared to just having the info on the SPI page.
:@Japeth555: Maybe. If there's enough unique info on the workings of those rebreathers to work into a proper article body, then perhaps. I'm honestly not sure how much worth it would be, though, as you'd essentially be adding another list article that needs to be updated as new info (info on rebreathers, in this case) gets released. --Jugus (talk) 00:37, 14 September 2016 (EDT)
