As there appear to be a vast number of, mostly, unofficial audio logs in the game, these do provide some good background. I think I've even discovered upon similar Data Pad like logs as you can find in Halo: Reach. However, I do not know wether these are legendary specific. I merely found the first on legendary. Look in the description of the page itself. Seeing as the logs do provide a good background and extra information, I think this would be a good place to list them all. Your thoughts? --Thijsbos 15:28, 13 November 2012 (EST)

I think listing them all here is an excellent idea. This page could be quite useful once it has expanded. Of the ones currently listed on the page, I have only found the first. I can confirm that it is available on Normal, Heroic and Legendary. There is also the Log on the first level about John, and the ones on Ivanoff.--Soul reaper 03:49, 19 November 2012 (EST)
Specimen 1534
The audio log in the room where the Chief fights the hunters has one of the tanks that contains Specimen 1534. To me, it kind of looks like a monitor. Is Specimen 1534 a monitor? More specifically, is it THE monitor for Installation 03? S.g.ali (talk) 00:59, 3 January 2014 (EST)
:Unless I'm mistaken, Specimen 1534 is a Z-510 Focus Turret.--Soul reaper (talk) 02:12, 3 January 2014 (EST)
::That's what I initially was thinking too, but the object does not quite look like the turret in Halo 4. It is possible that it could be a different type of turret or some other device. But looking at that object, I keep thinking that it could be some kind of a monitor. Then again, it could be something else completely. I can't find the actual model, but I believe I found the texture of this object. If I'm right, it's called "Eye of Sphinx". It's in the same game level folder structure as the Halo Index (familiar t-shaped object) and the Mantle (the Forerunner world emblem seen in most Halo games) which are also contained specimens in that lab area of Ivanoff. Without finding the actual model, I can't be sure, but the texture and file location seem right. -ScaleMaster117 (talk) 13:59, 4 January 2014 (EST)
:War Sphinx reference perhaps? That would be a nice Easter Egg... ProphetofTruth (talk) 14:11, 6 January 2014 (EST)
::That was my thought and likely the intent. I can only comment on the file name for the texture. -ScaleMaster117 (talk) 14:29, 6 January 2014 (EST)
Easter Egg
I don't think this should be classified as an Easter Egg. It's not a silly thing the developers placed in the game for the players to find, it's intent is to provide extra information about the surrounding plot of the game.-- 11:38, 4 January 2014 (EST)
Speculation on the Composer audio logs
Is there any way to verify the timelines for some of the Composer audio logs that don't have a stated date?  Based on the available information:
* Phosphorus test / Artifact test - Some people got digitzed when the Composer suddenly activated.  I can't say for certain which audio log comes first.  Also I don't if this happened in 2554 when the Composer was first excavated or in 2557 at Ivanoff Station.
* Ceased transmission - The Composer stopped transmitting something around 0900 on the 21st.  Could this be the July 21, 2557 date when the Ur-Didact was released from the cryptum in the Halo 4 campaign?  Also, the transmission could be the Composer's coordinates to help the Ur-Didact locate it after crashing the USS Infinity inside Requiem.
* Something big - Something big is happening outside Ivanoff Station.  This could be the Halo 4 Composer mission during the July 24, 2557 date.
