| A second shortcut is possible from the final bridge overlooking the control room pyramid. This is most easily accomplished by acquiring a Banshee, destroying the second Banshee, then flying to the top of the pyramid. In side note you can also use the Banshee to kill the enemies on the bridge and then land near the bridge exit. This will trigger a wave of Covenant. Once they are killed push the banshee off the bridge. Proceed as normal and when you reach the bottom of the canyon the banshee will be waiting for the future battle. The second shortcut method is to jump from the bridge to the ridge running down the center of the pyramid. This takes some skill in jumping, given the distance and size of the target. This also removes your shield and most of your health so this must be done in the absence of enemies. If you land too low you'll die. Once you're on the ridge walk to bottom, gather ammunition as needed and continue. {{Unsigned|Zerion299}}
