Idk how wikis work, I never use them, but as I understand it, editing this page is how to discuss what changes should be made for armor customization pages. I thought I edited it yesterday but now it's not showing up, not sure what I am doing wrong. But anyway why does Halo 2 armor customzation not have its own article, when all the other games do? There is a link here for Halo 2 armor customization but the link doesn't work. Surely this page should exist?

This article is getting too big.

I have attempted to split this page up. I have pulled all the information we have on reach into a new article including all reach pictures from the gallery section but it continues to be ripped back to this article and the new one I created is being marked for deletion due to redundancy. This is highly annoying because whoever is doing it refuses to answer why they apparently do not want the article split or does not understand the concept of what I am doing. I know this has been around for a while now but I also agree that the page should be split. I was thinking that maybe we could avoid the new page's deletion if we have an official vote.--Soul reaper 08:13, September 29, 2010 (UTC)

*Support- Yeah its very crammed. If you split it into Halo 3/odst and Halo reach pages then you'll allow their respective info to be clearer. Right now you have to dig through a wall of text to find specific info. All available information has been gathered for reach or is on its way so we can move it now. We've already finished our templates and what not. *Support- I agree. The information regarding the three different games does warrent a split. How ever, if the page is split, I would sugggest that you make individual pages for the armor types, detailing, where they were used, created, and any significant history reguarding the piece.I would be happy to do this if you would like! Please post any requests for this on my board or talk page. Here is the link: Alpha Spartan A

I think it is necesary to have one or the other, because when you go looking through the pages, one sentence will say "armor," the next "armour."

So, I am chosing to write "armor," nothing against the British, but Bungie is American, so it should really be "armor."

Yeah i agree with the other guy too that some sentences say armor and others say armour, that could be quite weird if someone is editing the pages and then the other guy changed it back, and it pretty much get annoyed when editing cause you will see more red doted lines underneath them... I think that too. And why should we be forced to pay $60 a year for it? I want the Commando Harness, rouge helmet, and scout shoulders sooo bad, but the Bungie-Microsoft pathetic plan to get people to buy Xbox live just to get the armor is why they had to be cruel. I know that Bungie confirmed that armor permutations have no effect on gameplay, but I think they might have a slight effect. I've noticed that sometimes while wearing certain armor permutations you seem to do better at a certain thing. I have a theory, for example CQB armor seems to slightly help you and keep you alive longer in close quarters combat, EOD seems to keep you alive longer when faced with explosives, and Scout armor seems to be more stealthy and makes it easier to snipe and sneak up on people. Could someone maybe test this theory with all the types of armor and maybe they could try different armor combination s.--Darth Malice the Destroyer 01:14, September 30, 2009 (UTC)

The Commando Shoulders unlock automatically for everyone after the auto-updates are installed. The auto-updates are installed after you buy Halo 3: ODST or something. Further on, I don't know about the glitch for your E.O.D armor. On Halo 3: ODST, I completed the last level on Heroic, but I got no achievement: "Campaign Complete: Heroic". So, your game might be bugged or something, I don't know. Apparently, according to that Armor Perm picture, the R attachment on Assault/Sapper, Collar/Breacher, and HP/Parafoil, after purchasing them, you can get what's called an R attachment, I'm guessing which causes a Prosthetic arm. EM

I'm proposing that we combine all the constituent armor accessories for each variant into ONE article for the variant that they're in. For example, instead of having an article for Tactical/CHOBHAM, Tactical/HARD CASE, Tactical/SOFT CASE, Tactical/TRAUMA KIT, and Tactical/UGPS], these articles should be combined into a page titled MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/Tactical.

Also, all variant articles should follow this format: MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/VARIANT NAME. Most of the armor permutation articles already have this, but there are a few that have names like Mark V(MP) MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor.

We also need to take the SPARTAN Armor template and change it so that only the variants are shown, not the individual accessories.

Is this a glitch? Actually, I think it's from a Red Vs. Blue episode, right. If it is then it should be removed. Because remember how Rooster Teeth always comes up with those sick animations? I think it's worth mentioning in the trivia here or on Emile's page that to recreate his armour in The Armory you would need 999000 Cr, because that's insanely expensive. Alex T Snow 03:56, 17 November 2010 (EST)

im not a frequent editor on here no do i possess xbox live and it pisses the hell out of me looking at these armors and such (namely EVA[C]) that i cannot be sure if i can get. i propose that
A)a new image be found of all offline unlockable content
B)a list be made.
i know this isn't a pressing concern for most but it gets really annoying trying to get to something i see on the armor permutation page only to later find out i need live to get it.

does anyone know if theres a reach player generator? i tried vanity but its low quality and it broke down. ive seen some users with avatars that seem to have come from a reach player generator of some sort. Would one of these users please send me a link for the generator they used.
Bungie.net has one, though it's broken and won't display your armour right. Vanity is the only one so fat i think.DatrDeletr 10:12, 17 December 2010 (EST)

Armor descriptions
I was speaking with Sith Venator about the removal of armor descriptions from some MJOLNIR articles to avoid redundancy. I said some descriptions are only available if the armor has been unlocked (it depends on the game obviously), so it's better to keep the exact descriptions somewhere. Sometimes people can't go back to their 360 to check a description either (or they don't have the time to). So, if we are to remove the in-game descriptions, I suggest we put them on the "armor permutations" pages instead. Raw transcripts, even with the mistakes or the repetitive sentences (Halo 3...), it wouldn't matter on such a real-world page. Imrane-117 (talk) 12:14, 19 February 2016 (EST)
:Yeah, that sounds like the best way to go about it. I've actually been meaning to mention putting the descriptions on the permutations article, since we already have the visor color descriptions. It would be best to have it all in one place. --<span style="color: #2B1AAA;">NightHammer</span><span style="color: #2B1AAA;">(talk)</span><span style="color: #2B1AAA;">(contribs)</span> 13:26, 19 February 2016 (EST)
