| I don't find the camo very effective. A ripply image in the air is pretty noticeable, I should know, I always see people using it. | | I don't find the camo very effective. A ripply image in the air is pretty noticeable, I should know, I always see people using it. |

| Actually you will notice theres alot of people who cant see it, you have to get used to it, because I sneak around all the time and only 2 out of 5 notice me.Papayaking 21:12, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

| It would be great if someone added information about how the AI responds to active camouflage in each game, for use in campaign games. Thanks. 24.20.177.147 00:41, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

| == Permanant Category? ==
| |
|
| |
| As it stands, this article has absolutely nothing to do with Red vs. Blue, yet it is listed in that category. I would ordinarily not even bother putting something like this on the discussion page, except that I cannot seem to find a way to remove it. The edit section says that this page is not in that category, my eyes tell me otherwise. Anyone know how to fix this? Captain J 01:24, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

| I created the Use in Campaign section. It needs some improving though.

| == Halo: Reach Camo ==
| |
|
| |
| Instead of a Trivia point, I think it's time we put the Camo ability that will be in Reach into here as part of the article, we have somewhat enough information on it. It is an armor ability used by both Spartans and Elites, running will both decrease the invisibility and waste more power thus it is advised to walk slowly to make it last as long as possible and for max usefulness, and it doubles as a radar jamer, including your own. --Juubi no Ryuu 17:26, April 6, 2010 (UTC)

| == Camo in Halo: CE ==

| On the Xbox version of Halo: CE the active camo looks just like the later active camos - it bends light. But on Halo PC all it does is just fade whoever picks it up, and theres a picture here of a camouflaged SPARTAN on Timberland (which is exclusive to Halo PC) and the camouflage bends light! Did he use Halo Custom Edition? Bottletopman 07:30, April 20, 2010 (UTC)

| I don't think the one with the light bending around the player involved Custom Edition. The graphics capabilities of the computers used to take each of the Combat Evolved screenshots are likely different. I know this from personal experience. I play Combat Evolved on my computer (which actually doesn't quite meet the graphical system requirements) and I see the "faded" effect. However, my friend's computer (which can play Crysis at medium settings without lag) shows the "bending" effect. It also would be incredibly hard to add the "bending" effect to a suboptimal PC (even with Custom Edition), because it would involve changing the game in such a way that the effect would be achieved without taxing the performance, something the game already tried to do during installation. In short, they're the same game with different systems.--ReconNinja117 16:21, 19 April 2011 (EDT)

| ==No shields?==

|

| Moramee definitely had shields. Not only did he get shot point black in the chest with an Assault Rifle by Forge, without his armor scratched in any way, but Forge later shot his hand with his pistol multiple times to make him let go off his Energy Sword. Sure, there's no sign of shields flaring, but shields don't flare for any other Elite in the rest of the games cutscenes. If that's not shielded, having your hand, chest, and armor unharmed, I don't know what is. I'm bringing it up here because I've seen this mistake around this wiki a lot, and it doesn't make any sense.
