Suite Autumn is the twenty-third track in Halo: Original Soundtrack.
Suite Autumn is a suite/medley of short music pieces included in the Halo: Original Soundtrack.

Appearances
It plays during the levels Pillar of Autumn (0:49-1:27), Halo (0:00-0:48), 343 Guilty Spark (3:02-4:24), Two Betrayals (parts 1 and 4), Keyes, and The Maw (1:28-3:01) after the Master Chief leaves the bridge and his arrival via Banshee, respectively.

Overview
Overview
Although the track is a suite/medley of four short music pieces, there is a consistent use of somber, and somewhat ominous, tone throughout, creating an atmosphere of uncertainty.
The tone is somber, and somewhat ominous. The tone adds to an atmosphere of uncertainty, with the Pillar of Autumn's sharp turns sometimes you never know what's around the corner.

The soundtrack is composed of four sections. The first section (0:00-0:48) begins with low notes which only lasts a few seconds before being cut out abruptly by high strings, creating a suspenseful feeling. The second section (0:49-1:27) enters with two-part low strings playing in ambiance. The third section (1:28-3:01) cuts in with two-part high vocals, followed by high notes in the background, echoing the rendition of the Halo Theme Gregorian chant from the earlier track Enough Dead Heroes. The fourth section (3:02-4:22) features low strings and vocals in a somber ambiance piece.

The piece was fully arranged into Suite Fall in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Original Soundtrack.

Appearances
The soundtrack can be heard:
*In the level Pillar of Autumn (0:49-1:27) after Jacob Keyes handed the magnum to John-117 on the bridge of Pillar of Autumn, and again before John encounters Covenant coming out of their boarding craft (0:49-1:27).
*In the level Halo (0:00-0:48), at the beginning when John-117 exits the SKT-9 Bumblebee Lima Foxtrot Alpha 43, also briefly during the cutscene where John-117 activates the bridge in the tunnel (3:02-4:22).
*In the level The Truth and Reconciliation (0:49-1:27), at the beginning when John and the marines exit a D77-TC Pelican.
*In the level 343 Guilty Spark, when Echo 419 dropped John-117 at the swamps (3:02-4:22), when John-117 approaches the room where members of Fire Team Charlie encountered the Flood (3:02-4:22), and as John-117 approaches the light bridge leading to the elevator which would bring him to the surface of the Flood containment facility. (1:28-3:01)
*In the level Two Betrayals, briefly in the opening cutscene when 343 Guilty Spark begins to threaten John-117 (3:02-4:22), when Cortana explains the method of disrupting the phase pulse generator at the first generator (0:00-0:48) and after John-117 disrupted the second phase pulse generator (0:00-0:48).
*In the level Keyes, after captain Jacob Keyes screams in pain (0:49-1:27), also after John-117 punches the Proto-Gravemind to acquire Keyes' neural implants (1:28-3:01).
