Epilogue is the eleventh level of Halo: Reach's campaign. It does not contain actual gameplay, instead only a cutscene depicting the arrival of the UNSC Pillar of Autumn at Installation 04, similarly to the opening cutscene of the Halo: Combat Evolved level The Pillar of Autumn.
Epilogue was only included in the port of Halo: Reach included in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. In the original game, the cutscene included in the epilogue includes the Halo: Reach credits.
Transcript
Fade in to the Soell Star System. The Pillar of Autumn exits slipspace. The cruiser flies into view.
September 19, 2552 01:20 Hours
- Captain Jacob Keyes: "Cortana, all I need to know is, did we lose them?"
- Cortana: "I think we both know the answer to that."
The Pillar of Autumn slowly drifts towards the planet Threshold and the orbiting megastructure - Halo.
Fades to black.
