Specifications
Design details
The T-57 carbine is a versatile semi-automatic rifle renowned for its accuracy and long range.
This section needs expansion. You can help Halopedia by expanding it.
Variants
Type-57B Carbine
The T-57B use a streamlined manufacturing process and reactive materials in place of radioisotopes for coating projectiles.
Rain of Oblivion
The "Rain of Oblivion's" grip has been held by a thousand heroes and a hundred villains. Upgraded Carbine with fully automatic action and extended magazine.
Blood of Suban
The genius and talent of the artisan-armorers on Suban is only matched by their newfound avarice. Advanced Carbine that fires armor-piercing Needler shards. If multiple shards quickly strike a target they will create a "supercombine" explosion.
Gameplay
Changes from Type-51 Carbine in Halo 4
- Much more accurate at longer ranges
- Slightly more bloom
- Increased damage
- Magazine size increased from 18 to 20
- More reserve ammo to coincide with new magazine size (72 to 80)
- Lighting on magazine will gradually change color from blue to red as ammunition is depleted, fulfilling a similar function as seen in Halo 2 and Halo 3
