When he met [[Adriana-111]], he threw his handgun away to show that he was not a threat. It is presumed he was left behind after [[Adriana-111]] left him to think about what he was doing and the Rubble made the slipspace jump without any further mention of him. Presumably he was killed either by the [[Covenant]], lack of air or the eventual cold of space. It is possible however that he sent out a beacon and was rescued by members of the Rubble and made the jump on board [[Habitat Exodus]] safely with the rest of the Rubble's population.
