Save This Film is a new Halo 3 Achievement that requires you to get a perfection medal on one of the Mythic Maps in either a ranked or a social playlist. To get a perfection you must get at least 15 kills and no deaths on Slayer. Note that it is not necessary to get the Running Riot achievement to get this achievement, someone may quit the game and your spree might be reset, but as long as you can get 15 kills with no deaths, the medal and achievement will be available.

To get a perfection players needed to score at least fifteen kills with no deaths in a Slayer match. Note that it was not necessary to get the Running Riot medal to get this achievement. If someone quit the game, it would sometimes cause the players' sprees to reset, but as long as a player finished the game fifteen or more kills and no deaths, the medal and achievement would be awarded.
It is worth 25 Gamerscore Points.

This achievement is worth 25 Gamerscore and is represented by the outline of a by the Perfection medal.
Following the shutdown of Xbox 360 Halo online services on January 13, 2022, this achievement is no longer attainable.

One method was to try to stay back and let your teammates do the work, and occasionally pop out to finish off someone else's kill. On Sandbox players could hide behind the structures and obstacles and eventually this achievement should unlock. To make it easier to survive, it was a good idea to: have a bubble shield or a regenerator on Sandbox; utilize the rockets for quick and easy kills as much as possible; watch out for the enemy warthog and players wielding rockets; always be patient and not be rash in order to better survive. Once players got to fifteen kills, players could consider hiding behind their base and waiting for the game to end.
This is easiest to get in a party. Try to stay back and let your teammates do the work, and occasionally pop out to finish off someone else's kill. On Sandbox just hide behind the structures and obstacles and eventually this achievement should unlock.

It was also possible to get a teammate to drive the player around in a Warthog circling the map, being careful not to stray too far out, otherwise the Guardians would kill them, and not too far in as there was a greater risk of getting stuck by a plasma grenade or blown up with a rocket launcher.
