The Sangheili then proceeded to hunt down the Jirilhanae. In the beginning this was not going well and the Sangheili were accepting serious losses. After the San'Shyum went into hiding the Sangheili began to prevail against the Jirilhanae who started to fight amongst themselves. The Sangheili were beginning to become confused about their religion because even though the San'Shyum lied to them, they are still religiously devoted to the forerunners and are attempting to figure out the meaning of their faith
