Range computer
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
(Redirected from Range Computer)
A range computer is a piece of human technology used at firing ranges.[1] It is wirelessly linked to each soldier's weapon, and can lock the weapon's trigger at any time, such as if it were aimed at another trainee. Range computers can also call out hits and misses; some, such as the range computer the Harvest Colonial Militia trainees used, speak in a comical approximation of a drill instructor's voice.[1]
Range computers can display a soldier's shooting score, and gives them a "rank" according to their accuracy (e.g. Sharpshooter). Jenkins and Forsell both ranked Sharpshooter.[2]
