| The medal is represented by a gold 8-pointed star with a target in the middle. The star is 7-pointed in ''[[Halo 4]]'', ''[[Halo: The Master Chief Collection]]'' and ''[[Halo 5: Guardians]]''. In ''Halo 2'' and ''[[Halo 3]]'' the target is golden brown. In ''[[Halo: Reach]]'', ''Halo 4'', and ''The Master Chief Collection'' the target is purple. In ''Halo 5: Guardians'' the entire medal is purple. In ''Spartan Assault'' and ''Spartan Strike'' the medal is represented by a stylized shield. When a player earns this medal, the announcer will shout "Rampage!" to the player that received it. However in Halo 2, the announcer will instead say "Untouchable!".
