He, along with the rest of the ship's ODST complement, conducted a [[Landing on Installation 04|landing]] via [[drop pod]] in the opening hours of the conflict, and was able to survive the drop. After rallying with the rest of the [[battalion]], Parker was tasked with leading a force of Marine personnel and [[SPARTAN-II program|Spartan]] [[John-117]] in a mission to [[Raid on the Truth and Reconciliation|rescue]] the ''Autumn''{{'}}s [[Captain (NAVCOM)|Captain]] [[Jacob Keyes]].{{Ref/Reuse|TF4}}
