The first time, while Crimson was engaging his forces in the area he escaped in a [[Type-44 Troop Carrier|Phantom]]. During the Covenant assault on [[Galileo Base]] he was sighted by [[UNSC Marine Corps|Marine]] forces in the area, but escaped shortly before Crimson secured the base. UNSC forces eventually tracked him to a base at a Forerunner structure, sending in Crimson to take him out. Crimson was able to kill him along with all his troops in the area. |

| After the [[Human-Covenant War]], Vol enlisted with [[Merg Vol]] when his brother's [[Merg Vol's Covenant|Covenant remnant]] launched an [[Battle of Draetheus V|assault]] on [[Draetheus V]] in [[2554]]. While Merg commanded the attack on the [[Forerunner]]-created [[moon]] of [[X50]], Parg Vol served as the commanding officer of the Covenant forces on Draetheus V. Seeking a way to X50, [[SPARTAN-IV program|Spartan]] [[Sarah Palmer]] stole Vol's personal {{Pattern|R'shwupa|Phantom}} from his camp while the Sangheili was away.{{Ref/Reuse|hsa21}} As a [[combat engineer]] bypassed the Phantom's security protocols, Vol returned to his camp and realized Palmer's intent.
