The DEMO variant of ODST armor bears resemblance to the [[ODST armor/Late-war design|late war design]] of the armor, with a notably more compact design. As of [[Series 6: Raven]], the ODST/DEMO is available for use as an [[Armor customization (Halo 3)|armor permutation]] in the ''[[Halo 3]]'' component of ''[[Halo: The Master Chief Collection]]''. Unlike the version seen in ''Halo: Fireteam Raven'', this iteration comes equipped with a combat knife on the left thigh. Additionally, during the flighting of Season 6: Raven, the preview in armor customization menu shows a grenade belt around the waist, but it has been removed in the final release.
