Manufactured by [[Watershed Division]], the M11 was designed and built for [[Spartan]]s. It was constructed with hyper-dense metal alloys, making it nearly unbreakable. When wielded by a Spartan operator, the blade can be thrust with force sufficient to penetrate [[energy shielding]] or hardened armor.{{Ref/Book|Id=osfm|OSFM|Page=182}}{{Ref/Book|Id=enc22|Enc22|Page=185}}
