Covenant forces quickly captured the area and landed at least two [[Scarab]] walkers in it, but the close quarters of the area allowed the UNSC [[Marines]] to put up fierce resistance, destroying at least one Scarab walker near the bridge while another crossed it<ref>[[Halo 2]], level [[Turf]]</ref>. 

Forces from the ''[[UNSC In Amber Clad]]'' were dispatched to the area, including the [[Master Chief]]. They were able to retake the area from the Covenant invaders<ref>[[Halo 2]], level [[Outskirts (Level)|Outskirts]]</ref>.
