| Before the deployment to [[Ariel]] for [[Operation: FIRESIDE]] on [[2552|January 8, 2552]], Langston's death at the hands of John-117 in 2525 led Brimley and [[Kojo Agu|Romeo]] into an argument on the [[SPARTAN-II Program|Spartans]]' fighting prowess, and eventually into a full-on fight, in which he overpowered Romeo before [[Taylor H.
