Renders that featured the helmet opted to utilize [[RECRUIT-class Mjolnir|Recruit]] armor as a base. Additionally, the helmet in ''Halo 4'' [[Cut Halo 4 customization|was intended to feature]] a striped design, akin to [[SOLDIER-class Mjolnir|the Soldier helmet]], which can be seen in pre-release builds and screenshots. At some point, the design was changed, with the striped pattern becoming an X-shaped pattern.
