==Overview==
The '''LAU-1810/SGM-151''' was a missile launcher used by the [[United Nations Space Command]] during the later years of the [[Human-Covenant War]].<ref>[http://halo.xbox.com/en-us/intel/theuniverse/tech/gallery/prototype/b053d1dc-912b-401b-bb9e-2909d1028c31?page=2 '''Halo Waypoint:''' ''Prototype'']</ref>
===Design details===
The LAU-1810/SGM-151 missile launcher is a shoulder-mounted launching system, capable of holding up to three self-guided, high-explosive missiles.{{Ref/Film|Id=Prototype|HLeg|Story=Prototype}} The weapon was integrated into the right shoulders of both the [[HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark I ADS|Mark I]] and [[HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark I (J) Green Machine|Mark I <nowiki>[J]</nowiki>]] armor defense systems.{{Ref/Reuse|Waypoint}}{{Ref/Game|Id=HW2|HW2|Sergeant Johnson in-game unit}}

==Operational history==
==Background==
The LAU-1810/SGM-151 was employed during the [[Algolis Invasion]]. During the battle, a Marine with the call sign "[[Ghost (Marine)|Ghost]]" took the [[Weapons Research Facility T12A|research facility's]] Mark I ADS prototype, and used it in defense of the civilians and fellow Marines still on the planet. Ghost used the suit's mounted LAU-1810/SGM-151 to shoot down several {{Pattern|Irdnekt|Banshee}}s before he was overwhelmed by the invaders. He then activated the suit's [[Nuclear weapon|nuclear]] self-destruct system, destroying himself, the suit and all nearby Covenant forces.{{Ref/Reuse|Prototype}}
The LAU-1810/SGM-151's only known use was on the [[HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark I Prototype Armor Defense System]] during the [[Battle of Algolis]]. During the battle, [[Ghost (Marine)|"Ghost"]], a sergeant of the [[UNSC Engineering Corps]], used the experimental power armor to hold off advancing Covenant forces. He used the suit's onboard LAU-1810/SGM-151 to destroy several [[Type-26 Ground Support Aircraft|Type-26 ''Banshee'' attack craft]].<ref>'''Halo Legends:''' ''Prototype''</ref>

Although the Algolis research facility was destroyed in the battle, data was recovered from its ruins and used to create the Mark I [J] "Green Machine", which appears to integrate a weapon visually akin to the LAU-1810/SGM-151.{{Ref/Reuse|HW2}}{{Ref/Site|URL=https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/news/folks-need-heroes|Site=Halo Waypoint|Page=Canon Fodder - Folks Need Heroes|D=02|M=10|Y=2020}}
