Kizingo Boulevard

Kizingo Boulevard was a large road on the main island of New Mombasa, Kenya, Earth. The road connected two roundabouts: one in Sector 3 and one in Sector 4.[1]
History[edit]
During the Battle of Mombasa on October 20, 2552, Kizingo Boulevard was the site of a fierce battle between the UNSC and the Covenant. UNSC forces have set up stationary M68 Gauss cannons around the boulevard, but they were destroyed by Wraiths supporting the Covenant infantry. Despite being outnumbered, an M808C Scorpion operated by Orbital Drop Shock Trooper Michael Crespo eliminated the Covenant forces. After clearing the area, Crespo led a group of UNSC Marines along the boulevard to the entrance to the ONI Alpha Site at Sector 10, which had been designated as the rally point for all UNSC forces in the city.[1]
As with all of New Mombasa, Kizingo Boulevard was destroyed when Truth's fleet glassed the city to uncover the Portal at Voi.[2]
