Szarabajka is widely recognized for his versatile acting skills across film, television, and video games. He appeared in prominent live-action roles such as Mickey Kostmayer in the 1985 TV series The Equalizer and Detective Gerard Stephens in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight. In addition to his on-screen work, he has lent his voice to many iconic video game characters, including Joshua Graham in Fallout: New Vegas, Harbinger in Mass Effect 2 and Hershel Biggs in L.A. Noire. Szarabajka is also well-known for his extensive voice performances in animated shows. He voiced the DC villain Trigon in the first season of Teen Titans and later Mr. Freeze in Young Justice.
In 2012, Keith Szarabajka provided the voice for the Ur-Didact, the primary antagonist of Halo 4. He also lent his voice to the character of Doctor Cameron Alexander in Halo 4 Spartan Ops. Later in 2024, Szarabajka reprised his role as the Ur-Didact when he narrated the audiobook of Kelly Gay's novel Halo: Epitaph, which explores the Ur-Didact's story following the events of Halo 4 and Halo: Escalation.[1] His involvement with the franchise continued in Halo: Infinite, where he voiced the Banished Jiralhanae Tovarus, one of many enemy bosses encountered in the game's campaign.
