This Jiralhanae encampment was a base of operations set up by the Jiralhanae near the Control Room of Installation 05 during the Battle of Installation 05. The encampment was located within a series of Forerunner structures and caves in the cliffs surrounding the control center. The camp consisted of two parts; one medium-sized, forward base, and a larger, secluded base referred to as the Bastion of the Brutes, which was incorporated into the cliffside.
On the level Uprising, a group of Brutes and Jackals set up an expansive camp to block access to the Control Room. This encampment was split into two parts. The first was near a natural bridge over the stream, and was defended by a half-dozen Brutes and several Jackals. The Brutes were unprepared for the sudden assault of the Arbiter and his Elite allies. They fell to the Arbiter's assault, allowing him to move on towards the Control Room.
Description
The initial encampment was set near a waterfall, in the form of two circular basins with structures in the hillsides. When Thel 'Vadam and his strike team reached this, they faced heavy resistance from numerous Jiralhanae, Kig-Yar, and a pair of Wraiths. The forward base was also home to an assemblage of weaponry, kept by the Jiralhanae in an "armory" in the center of the complex. After pushing through the base, Thel 'Vadam and a group of Sangheili he led met up with an armored convoy, led by Rtas 'Vadum. The Wraith there proved invaluable in the assault on the Control Room, with Thel 'Vadam leading the charge. After destroying the Jiralhanae guards, which again consisted of Wraiths and many Ghosts, Thel 'Vadam ventured into the second encampment.

The second encampment was inside of a Forerunner structure, and led up to a landing platform, with which a Scarab was docked in.
The primary encampment was a mixture of jungle and Forerunner complex near where the stream fell into a small pond. Though well-defended by nearly twenty Brutes and multiple Jackal Snipers, as well as a pair of Wraiths, the camp eventually fell to the relentless assault of the Arbiter and several reinforcements (who had arrived via Orbital Insertion Pod), thus allowing him access to the beach on which the Control Room was located.

Armory
References
The Jiralhanae had a small "armory" in a room/hallway halfway through the encampment, consisting of typical Covenant weapons: a Fuel Rod Gun, Type-50 particle beam rifle, Covenant Carbines, Kewu R'shi'ks, Brute Shots, Plasma Grenades and captured human weapons including shotguns, a rocket launcher, and some frag grenades. The Arbiter made good use of these weapons (despite his fellow Elites regarding them as "vulgar"). The rocket launcher and fuel rod gun proved to be helpful in Thel 'Vadam's assault, neutralizing Jiralhanae-controlled Wraiths and Ghosts.

*On Legendary difficulty, sometimes a Brute Honor Guard will come out of the armory, and often berserk out of no where.

*Neither the Rocket Launcher nor the Fuel Rod Gun found in the Armory will transfer over to the next level. However, the 3 frag grenades will carry over unless the player still carries over either the Fuel Rod Gun or Rocket Launcher.
