Jiralhanae chosen warriors typically wear augmented gold [[Jiralhanae power armor|power armor]] that bear markings which befit their new status.{{Ref/Reuse|EN}} The armor is also equipped with [[energy shielding]].{{Ref/Game|Id=gameplay|HI|gameplay}} They also get first choice of weapons from the armories, and as such, many utilize non-standard weapons, including those of [[Forerunner]] and [[UNSC]] design.{{Ref/Reuse|EN}}

Chosen warriors wear golden power armor, sometimes enhanced with personal energy shields. They typically use [[Sentinel beam]]s or [[Bulldog]]s, although some wield the [[M41 SPNKR|M41 rocket launcher]] and carry [[Mangler]]s as sidearms. Like standard warriors, chosen warriors carry [[Jovokada Workshop spike grenade]]s.

Chosen warriors are more durable than all variants of standard [[Jiralhanae Warrior]]s. If struck by an upgraded [[grappleshot]], chosen warriors will not be electrocuted. They will instead assume a defensive posture and freeze themselves in place for several seconds (essentially the same effect). Chosen warriors that use the rocket launcher are particularly dangerous, as they can kill the player with one or two direct hits. As with other Jiralhanae enemies in the game, chosen warriors' helmets can be shot off, rendering them vulnerable to a precision headshot. Typically, a single direct hit from a rocket launcher will kill a chosen warrior at full health and shields on any difficulty.

In ''[[Halo Infinite]]''{{'}}s [[Forge]], shielded variants of Jiralhanae are distinguished from their unshielded counterparts by being labelled as "Chosen". Subsequently, the unshielded variant of the Jiralhanae Chosen Warrior—which never appears in campaign—is erroneously called "Brute Warrior" to match its shielded variant being called "Brute Warrior, Chosen". Instead, the blue and purple variants of the actual [[Jiralhanae Warrior]]s are called "Brute Minor" and "Brute Commando", respectively. The Forge menu also mislabelled [[Jiralhanae Warlord|Jiralhanae Warlord Chieftains]] as "[[Jiralhanae Chieftain|Brute Chieftain]], Chosen".
