The Hydra Soldier is a boss that spawns near the Monument, accompanied by [[Promethean Watcher|Watchers]]. This form of Soldier varies from the standard Promethean Soldier in that it wields a [[MLRS-1 Hydra]], which can be acquired by the player once the Boss is defeated. It should be noted, however, that the Hydra Soldier will replace his Hydra with a [[Z-130 Suppressor]] if any player gets too close or if the Hydra Soldier takes too much damage, meaning the Boss must be defeated extremely quickly if the Hydra is to be acquired.
