*At the start of [[The Ark (level)|The Ark]], scoring ten headshot kills should be relatively easy, as the [[Covenant Empire|Covenant]] forces are initially unaware of the player's presence.


*On [[Tsavo Highway]], at the second outside area (with two [[Shade]]s), there are several [[Kig-yar Sniper|Jackal Snipers]]. A player can kill one, take its [[Type-50 particle beam rifle|Beam Rifle]], and snipe the Jackals or Brutes in the area.
==Easy Ways to Earn the Headshot Honcho==
One easy way is on ''[[The Ark (Level)|The Ark]]'', at the beginning with the [[Sniper Rifle|'''''Sniper Rifle''''']] the enemies do not know you are there unless you attract their attention. Just snipe all the enemies in the head. Also, don't be afraid to waste a shot on a [[Grunt]] with the Sniper Rifle to get this achievement, as Grunts '''do''' count for the achievement.


*On [[Sierra 117]], a Sniper Rifle can be obtained at the crashed [[Pelican]]. It can later be used at the last part of the level, where there are more than enough enemies.
Another way is to play ''[[Tsavo Highway (Level)|Tsavo Highway]]'' up to the second outside area (the two [[Shade]]s near the pump station) there are many [[Jackal Snipers]] in this area. Kill one and pick off all of the Grunts. There are enough Grunts and Jackals here to earn the achievement.
 
Another easy way to earn this achievement is in the level ''[[Sierra 117 (Level)|Sierra 117]]'', in the last part of the level. You can find the Sniper Rifle where the [[Pelican]] crash site is.
The achievement can also be unlocked with the [[Type-50 Sniper Rifle System|Beam Rifle]].
This achievement doesn't have to be done without dying, so if you don't have enough ammo, you can commit suicide and make the missing headshots. This achievement can be done on [[Easy]].
 
Turning on the [[Halo 3 Skulls#Grunt Birthday Party|Grunt Birthday Party Skull]] will help things. When you get headshots on Grunts, the children cheer sounds will make it easier to know if you hit your target, and the small explosions will sometimes momentarily blind nearby grunts causing them to raise up their arms and stagger slowly around making it much easier to hit them.
 
Contrary to popular belief, the battle rifle and the carbine will NOT get you the achievement.
