Haven the sixth track in Halo 4: Original Soundtrack.
Haven is the sixth track on the Halo 4: Original Soundtrack.

Overview
Halo Music
The track opens with a theremin and synth effects before strings enter with a suspenseful melody, joined by female vocals, horns, and twinkling effects. The cascading melody builds up to a grand climax, with the different instruments cascading over each other, then fades out.

Appearances
The track can be heard:
* In the campaign level Requiem, when John-117 enters the Terminus in "Control".
* In the campaign level Reclaimer, when the Librarian recounts the Human-Forerunner wars.
* In the second terminal, when Forthencho orders the death of all the Forerunners of a planet to prevent the spread of the Flood infection.
* In the opening cinematic of the Spartan Ops episode Invasion, when Catherine Halsey has taken control of Roland and discovers John-117 is alive.

Production notes
The track was inspired by the Forerunner structures in Requiem, shown to composer Neil Davidge by 343 Industries during their first meeting in December, 2010. Davidge noted that the track pays homage to various science fiction musical scores, including the Blade Runner soundtrack by Vangelis and the soundtracks for The Day the Earth Stood Still.
