An '''unnamed Fleet''' under command of [[Fleet Admiral]] [[Harper]]. During the opening battle of the [[Battle of Earth]] on [[2552#October 20th, 2552|October 20th, 2552]], Harper was ordered to form a defensive perimeter around the Cairo's battle Cluster. Harper then commanded his fleet directly into the Covenant forces, whilst the [[UNSC Home Fleet]] policed the skies<ref>[[Cairo Station (level)|Cairo Station]], [[Halo 2]], beginning cutscene</ref>.

Shortly after the Covenant arrival, the Fleet was split into two groups:
*First Echelon was controlled by Harper and was in charge of destroying the [[CCS-class Battlecruiser]]s
*Second Echelon was charged in stopping the [[Assault Carrier]]s.

Two [[Marathon-class Cruiser]]s and six [[UNSC Frigate|Frigate]]s were in Harper's fleet<ref>[[Cairo Station (Level)|Cairo Station]] Cutscene</ref>. They appeared briefly in the opening cutscene to "[[Cairo Station (Level)|Cairo Station]]," on the Cairo's main computer screen.

One of the Cruisers may have been the one severely damaged by an Assault Carrier.
