| I agree. And I also propose that Quote sections could have a "Quotes about the character" section, said by other people. | ::Come to think of it, we could apply this to inanimate objects or entities as well. If there's enough poignant things said about a given faction, vehicle or weapon, for instance, they might as well be put to a dedicated quotes page.--Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 13:22, 19 January 2014 (EST)

| Another related point: while the majority of random combat dialogue won't meet the notability guidelines, should we retain the full lists of Firefight quotes, given the fact they're not recorded elsewhere (ie. transcripts)? No one knows when they might become handy to someone. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 13:22, 19 January 2014 (EST)

| We should. Most Firefight lines are reaction based, not random chatter. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 16:15, 19 January 2014 (EST)

| :We should, on the basis that Firefight quotes are a feature. We don't have retain the full lists, only those that are of value. Sighing, grunting, cheering and what-not are not of value. — subtank 09:22, 20 January 2014 (EST)

| Apologies for taking it a while to put it in. I believe the very wide discretion provided by the current section would give some freedom and guidance to editors as to what would be considered as a "notable quote". At the end, what is important is the quotability of a quote. — subtank 19:53, 8 February 2014 (EST)

| :We could add the bit that randomized gameplay and Firefight lines (well, obviously apart from the aforementioned grunts and the like) can be included in their entirety in sections of their own, despite their often dubious quotability, by virtue of not being listed anywhere else. So, for instance, the Gravemind's gameplay quotes are fine because they've got to be listed somewhere, whereas random, completely unquotable lines currently on the quote page (e.g. "Not by choice.") can go. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 11:37, 19 February 2014 (EST)
