In Halo: Combat Evolved there were two identical Master Chiefs. In Halo 3 There were multiple characters consisting of the Chief, The Arbiter, and two Covenant Seperatists. Halo Reach introduced us to custom coop characters. But what about Halo 4? A did you know (the one on every page) said that the ghost is the only covenant vehicle usable in every game in the series. I own Halos: Wars, Reach, CE, 2, 3, 3 ODST, and 4 and at the very least the banshee is usable in ALL of them. I would like to know if energy shields block lasers. If they do, I would like to know why the UNSC didn't switch to lasers in order to bypass shields. They are transparent-translucent, so light should get through along with lasers, that are made of light, right??? The other related questions are nice to know but I really want to know if lasers pass through active shields. Those ONI stealth ships likely have weak lasers that don't compare to covenant ones, or not enough of them to go after them. An ODP with lasers instead of MAC cannons, forget about it. As you all may realize, War Games is the new name of what we players will know as Competitive Multiplayer for Halo 4. It is described as pinning players against one another in a simulated fighting experience within the UNSC Infinty. Apparently, this is the area in halo canon where actual Spartan-IV supersoldiers would fight within for training. What I'm wondering about is that when Spartan-IV's would fight with one another, we as players would see actual spartans killing one another. But for the "real" troopers, would this be more similar to virtual reality warfare, paintball, laser tag, etc. Especially since we know that "actual" troops would not fight for survival. I'm guessing no one wrote anything about the fact that unless shields are opaque so you can't see in or out of them, light can go through. Not to be rude, (I did get nice points of view) I found answers to everything else so if you don't really want to, I only am interested in its capabilities to penetrate shields without impediment. I'm no expert by any sense of the word, but I'm thinking that if a laser is concentrated enough, it could be blocked by something that light would be small enough to pass through.
Ive played Halo Reach and recently ive read the book Halo: The fall of Reach.

In the book, the Masterchief was assigned to destroy the Circumference allong with Linda and James.
After this they immediatly returned back to the ship.
Also the Pillar of Autumm remained in space and did not land on Reach, it couldnt because they where drawn from Operation: Red Flag and by the time they got back to Reach, the Covenant was all over the planet, making landing impossible.

While in the game as Noble Six, you need to bring AI Cortana to the Pillar of Autumm (which is obviously landed in the shipyard) and in the cutscene, you can see John inside a cryotube.
According to the book, the cruiser never landed on Reach and neither did John enter a cryotube before they made a slip-space jump to installation 04.

Honestly I've wondered this myself, and figured things like "they left to a different galaxy", "on other planets that humanity hasn't encountered yet", "they're still in stasis in the shield worlds and have yet to be reawakened" or "their numbers were too diminished to let them survive". A fifth, more fanony theory of mine is "they engineered a flood cure and immunized as many as they could, only that cure to turn out be false and actually be covertly infecting them." Just something I noticed. There are several Longswords that appear in the beginning of issue 4 but seem to disappear later towards the climax of the comic. In fact when the crew is going over the debris there is no mention of Longswords at all. To make it a lil more confusing, I did a once-over of the Spirit of Fire and the ship never carried Longswords. So I have questions: Where did those Longswords come from? Were they merely added just for the hell of it? Or did these "ex-UNSC" dudes steal/take them from somewhere else? ::I won't dare make that edit. Agreed though, like magic those ships just vanished right after the Pilgrims Pride was shoved out the ''Infinity''. They were retreating, yet they had nowhere to go. We know the Longsword is rated for space travel but not the Vulture nor Sparrowhawk. Suicide pilots? Would the Sangheili, Unggoy, and Lekgolo rebels on High Charity be considered a separate faction (those seen on the Gravemind level)? I really like what you've guys done with the factions updates (i.e Thel Vadam's Covenant Prehistoric Human Civilization, etc.) and I was wondering if the rebels (Sangheili, Unggoy, and Lekgolo)on High Charity (Halo 2, Gravemind level)during initial break of the Great Schism would be considered their own faction? Since they were lead to believe the Arbiter was killed and the Councilors missing/killed and lacked a specific leadership either be an individual or group, it would be similar to Xytan's alliance, although like the Joyous Exultation Alliance this faction did not last either. {{Unsigned|96.244.99.79}}

I was reading the Hunter (Mgalekgolo) page and was wondering why the type of hunters mentioned in Halo: Contact Harvest were not listed in the ranks section? In Halo: Contact Harvest, page 266, second paragraph, their is a mention of a another type of Hunter with a different colored armor guarding the entrance to the Forerunner Dreadnought on High Charity. It reads "Spotting the two San'Shyuum, the Mgalekgolo shifted into defensive formations, their fluted, deep-purple armor flashing in the beacons pulse." I know their has been no canonical explanation even for the Gold hunters in Halo 3:ODST, but I was just curious why these "sentries" would be left out of the page thanks for all the help and awesome work you guys and gals do on this site! {{Unsigned|96.244.99.79}}

Since the Librarian bequeathed the Forerunner ecumene to humanity, the reclamation will be us discovering the Forerunner artifacts and using them to rebuild a Tier 1 civilization again. Once that's been done, the effect of the Halos has essentially been negated and the Forerunners an be said to have returned.
