Throughout his extensive military career, John-117 had displayed characteristics and behaviours that are nothing short of extraordinary. Generally a man of few words, John-117 prefers action to discourse, and is often described as impassive, stoic, and focused.

Though proficient in all aspects of infantry tactics as well as the basics of aerospace combat, John-117's most notable skill is his ability to effectively and efficiently direct operational detachments ranging in size from [[fireteam]] to [[battalion]]s.
