===Serving the Swords===
By early [[2560]] as part of a treaty between the [[United Nations Space Command]] and [[Swords of Sanghelios]], [[Fireteam Jorogumo]] was assigned as part of an allied attaché under the purview of [[Fleetmaster]] [[Arkad Nar 'Kulul]], one of the leaders of the [[Sanghelios]] [[Sanghelios home defense fleet|home defense fleet]]. During this time, Glyyss and the other members of the fireteam were at the disposal of Swords forces at the discretion of key [[kaidon]]s and commanders. As part of their integration into the Swords of Sanghelios forces, each of Jorogumo's Spartans had been given [[Sangheili]] names that were not quite titles and not quite nicknames, but terms that would give them each a unique identity and stronger sense of inclusion. "Glyyss" was this Spartan's Sangheili name, while the other members of the fireteam were named "[[Trell]]," "[[Jaarov]]," and "[[Zhinn]]."{{Ref/Reuse|blood-moon}}

When the [[Banished]] [[Battle of Suban|attacked]] [[Suban]] in early 2560 with the intent to claim the [[Natural satellite|moon]]'s supply of ''[[kemuksuru]]'' for themselves, Glyyss and Fireteam Jorogumo were assigned by Fleetmaster 'Kulul to a Swords taskforce led by [[Fahl 'Nto]] and [[Orim 'Kasaan]]. Their mission called for them to infiltrate the Banished-occupied [[Mines of Shua'ree]] and clear it out. Before the taskforce launched their assault, 'Nto led Glyyss, Trell, and a [[Kig-Yar]] named [[Dahks]] on a recon mission to scout out the mine's entrance. After bantering with Dahks and confirming what they were up against, Glyyss sent a [[drone]] into one of the mouths of the mine so that the Kig-Yar could sync his [[Kig-Yar targeting headgear|optics]] with its camera. With that, 'Nto had Glyyss let Jaarov and Zhinn know that they would soon be in position for the attack, and that 'Kasaan could approach in his [[Phantom]].{{Ref/Reuse|blood-moon}}

As Glyyss, 'Nto, and Trell moved in, the Sangheili ordered Trell to take up a second vantage point to snipe from. Once Glyyss and 'Nto reached the mine's mouth, Dahks marked two nearby Banished warriors to be taken out first. Glyyss executed one while 'Nto killed the other. With the patrol eliminated, 'Nto contacted ''[[Scorrin's Blade]]''—the {{Pattern|Hekar Taa|blockade runner}} acting as support—to confirm that the [[Banshee]]s were on approach. Shortly thereafter, the Banshees arrived to dump [[plasma]] and [[fuel rod]]s into the Banished's [[Barukaza Workshop siege-hauler]]s being loaded with raw ''kemuksuru''. The resulting explosions sent a wave of confusion through the occupying forces within the mines. Then, Dahks and Trell opened up with their sniper rifles as 'Kasaan arrived with the Phantom at the mouth of the mine, releasing at least a dozen Sangheili warriors and two Spartans—Jaarov and Zhinn—into the chaos.{{Ref/Reuse|blood-moon}}

As the Swords of Sanghelios forces swept through mines and slaughtered the mostly Sangheili Banished infantry, [[Jiralhanae Chieftain|Chieftain]] [[Ipso]] appeared alongside two [[Jiralhanae]] [[Captain (Covenant)|Captain]]s and confronted 'Nto. The Spartans and Swords forces continued to engage the enemy and 'Nto finished off the last Jiralhanae Captain when Ipso knocked him to the ground, preparing to finish him off with the blade of his [[Gravity hammer (fiction)|gravity hammer]]. However, as the Chieftain brought the weapon down, Glyyss leapt in front of 'Nto and took the blow for the downed Sangheili. Glyyss was killed almost immediately as the massive blade lodged itself in their back. Glyyss was facing 'Nto when the Sangheili simply asked "Why?" while fully understanding that the Spartan would not be able to give an answer. Plasma fire from the Phantom forced Ipso to retreat, giving Jaarov and Zhinn the chance to recover Glyyss's body. With the mission falling apart, 'Nto, the other Spartans, and the rest of the Swords forces retreated themselves. As they prepared to leave in 'Kasaan's Phantom, 'Nto promised that they would return when the time was right.{{Ref/Reuse|blood-moon}}

==Equipment==
During the Battle of Suban, Glyyss wore [[RAKSHASA-class Mjolnir|RAKSHASA-class]] [[MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor]] with a [[SCORN-class Mjolnir|SCORN-class]] helmet and UL/RS/SRC-2100 commlink.
