===Ghost Flight===
The UNSC ''Ghost Flag'' was built to be part of [[Ghost Flight]], a flight of four {{Class|Razor|prowler}}s within the [[Office of Naval Intelligence]]'s [[UNSC Prowler Corps|Prowler Corps]].{{Ref/Reuse|HSS8}} At some point during the [[Insurrection]], [[Lieutenant Commander]] [[Hector Nyeto]] became the commander of Ghost Flight and slowly replaced the crew of each vessel with personnel sympathetic to the [[insurrectionist]] cause.{{Ref/Novel|Id=HSS25|HSS|Chapter=25}} When [[Vice Admiral]]s [[Preston Cole]] and [[Michael Stanforth]] initiated [[Operation: SILENT STORM]] in [[2526#March|March 2526]], the ''Ghost Flag'' and the other prowlers of Ghost Flight were selected to join [[Task Force Yama]] for the duration of the mission. This operation had the goal of slowing the [[Covenant]]'s [[Massacre of the Outer Colonies|advance]] through the [[Outer Colonies]] by means of [[Naval boarding|boarding]] enemy ships and stations, destroying them from the inside. Upon arriving in the [[Kolaqoa system]] on [[2526#March|March 18]], [[Colonel]] [[Marmon Crowther]] of the [[21st Space Assault Battalion]] decided that his [[ODST]]s and the [[SPARTAN-II program|Spartans]] that would be assisting in the operation should practice a mass deployment into the [[Seoba Ice Quarry|ice quarry]] where Task Force Yama would be hiding. Ghost Flight was selected to deploy the Black Daggers and [[Blue Team]], with each prowler carrying forty ODSTs and one Spartan. However, as the flight approached the moon, insurrectionist forces were detected in the quarry, preparing to overthrow Biko's chancellor. Despite this, Crowther decided to go forward with Operation: ICE DANCE and clear out the quarry.{{Ref/Novel|Id=HSS7|HSS|Chapter=7}}

During the ensuing [[Battle of Seoba|battle]], Ghost Flight managed to cripple the insurgents' communications relay at the top of the quarry. The ''Ghost Flag'' and the three other prowlers continued dropping off their infantry complement while supporting those already on the ground with their 30mm autocannons and [[Shrieker missile|M28 Shrieker missile]]s. As it attempted to destroy a convoy of rebel [[Civet]]s climbing up the quarry to repair the relay, the {{UNSCShip|Ghost Star}} was shot down, forcing Nyeto to pull the rest of Ghost Flight out until the convoy was either destroyed or distracted.{{Ref/Reuse|HSS8}} However, the battle would ultimately be won by [[Lieutenant]] [[Nelly Hamm]] using the unwitting Blue Team as a distraction, allowing her to call in Ghost Flight to deliver more troops. These Black Daggers destroyed the insurgent weapon emplacements and Civets, even securing the comms relay. With that, the quarry fell under UNSC control.{{Ref/Novel|Id=HSS10|HSS|Chapter=10}}

===Battle with Bloodstars===

On [[2526#March|March 19]], a Covenant [[Bloodstar Flotilla|flotilla]] arrived in-system and set course for Seoba.{{Ref/Novel|Id=HSS11|HSS|Chapter=11}} The ''Ghost Flag'' and the rest of the task force were quickly scrambled to meet the approaching [[intrusion corvette]]s, with each of the prowlers holding a complement of Black Daggers eager to board the Covenant vessels.{{Ref/Novel|Id=HSS13|HSS|Chapter=13}} While none of corvettes were successfully boarded, the alien flotilla would be defeated, losing three of its five ships.{{Ref/Novel|Id=HSS15|HSS|Chapter=15}} Still, the battle had cost the life of [[Captain (NAVCOM)|Captain]] [[Halima Ascot]] and her ship, the {{UNSCShip|Starry Night}}. ===Betrayal at Zhoist===

===Post-war usage===
Ross had used it to smuggle weaponry throughout the [[Isbanola sector]], including to the [[Keepers of the One Freedom]] for [[Arlo Casille]] in support of his coup. Before that, [[Hector Nyeto|his father]] used the prowler to become a hero of the Insurrection and the [[Gao Republic]] in particular. Right before Ross was arrested, the Office of Naval Intelligence operative [[Veta Lopis]] made an offer to rent the use of the ''Ghost Flag'' in accordance with her undercover persona at the time.{{Ref/Reuse|Ret1}}
