It shares its [[hull classification symbol]] with {{UNSCShip|Forward Unto Dawn}}, a vessel first introduced in ''[[Halo 3]]'' and later prominently featured in ''[[Halo 4]]''. ''Forward Unto Dawn'' is canonically a {{Class|Charon|light frigate}}, while the FFG-201 found in ''Halo Infinite'' is a ''Mulsanne''-class frigate - a distinctly different vessel. It is unclear whether this label is simply intended as an Easter egg or as a distinct canonical inclusion; early stages of the map's production showcase the FFG-201 logos as a deliberate element that was kept from pre-production to final art pass, indicating that the inclusion was deliberate on the part of [[343 Industries]].
