The Doozy is a snowmobile in service with the United Nations Space Command. It is used for rapid movement over snowy terrain, particularly for medical transport, messaging, diversionary tactics, and evacuation. A rear-facing "nausea seat" can accommodate a passenger, much like the rear seat of the M274 Mongoose. However, the design is often seen as a hindrance.

Production notes
The Doozy was a UNSC vehicle that was going to be included in Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2, but was deleted from the games. It is however, seen in the Halo 2 Collector's Edition Video.
The Doozy is inspired by a boat of the same name that was implemented in early builds of Halo: Combat Evolved though ultimately cut. The watercraft would have featured a rear-facing seat, allowing a player or NPC to engage pursuing enemies. The Doozy, along with several variants of the M12 Warthog, was canonized in the Halo Encyclopedia (2009 edition), albeit as a snowmobile rather than a boat.

Before the vehicle was deleted, it had a chaingun in the back, and to man the chaingun, one had to sit in the "nausea seat", which faced backwards.

Interestingly, in the Halo Editing Kit, there is an option for vehicle types, and one is 'human boat.' This is because Bungie had built in a boat function into the game engine, but the concept was never used.

The Halo Encyclopedia lists a vehicle of the same name which it describes as a modified snowmobile, used for quick movements over snowy ground, particularly for medical transport, messaging, diversionary tactics, and evacuation. Its physical descriptions is otherwise essentially the same as the boat version, noting that the "nausea seat" proved to be more of a hindrance than a help. The Doozy is one of the three vehicles based on deleted material featured in the Encyclopedia, the other two being variants of the Warthog.
