===Astronomical features===
The planet was orbited by three [[natural satellite]]s; [[Soirapt]], [[Warial]], and [[Teash]]. ===Environmental features===
Doisac was once a tropical world, where volcanic activity was common. It was later turned into a nuclear wasteland after the [[First Immolation|Great Immolation]], which reduced portions of the surface to plains of radioactive glass.{{Ref/Reuse|EN}} Doisac's environment was very [[Earth]]-like, with forests and oceans, although its gravity was twice that of Earth's. It has been noted that its terrain was dominated by magma and magnetism, hinting at high tectonic activity and rich magnetized iron deposits. It is possible that Doisac was closer to Oth Sonin than Earth is to [[Sol system|Sol]] because its surface temperature/climate was slightly more tropical, ranging from -15&nbsp;°C to 52&nbsp;°C (5&nbsp;°F to 125.6&nbsp;°F). Alternatively, its atmosphere may have caused a greenhouse effect, either due to the actions of the Jiralhanae or naturally, trapping heat and warming up the planet in a similar fashion to [[Venus]].{{Ref/Reuse|Bestiarum}} At least half of Doisac's surface was covered in rain forests, while the other half was largely composed of molten rock, lava, and large volcanoes. Doisac once had lush jungles covering nearly half of its land mass.{{Ref/Reuse|ENC143}} In ancient times the Jiralhanae built their tree-citadels on a massive species of tree that would have overshadowed the tallest trees of Earth.{{Ref/Reuse|HLeg}}{{Ref/Reuse|EN}}. Much of the ecology of Doisac had been ravaged by decades of nuclear war.{{Ref/Reuse|EN}}

===Ancient history===
Doisac was visited by the [[Forerunner]]s during the [[Lifeworker]]s' [[Conservation Measure]]. The Jiralhanae were one of many sentient species indexed by the [[Librarian]] for preservation aboard [[Installation 00]]. After the [[Halo Array]] was fired, the Jiralhanae were returned to Doisac to begin rebuilding their culture.{{Ref/Film|Id=HLeg|HLeg|Detail=''[[Origins]]''}}

===Post-Great Purification===
Doisac was a very war-torn land due to constant Jiralhanae civil warfare, typically between [[clan]]s. Despite their savagery, Jiralhanae proved intelligent enough to achieve [[Technological Achievement Tiers|spaceflight and space-faring status]]. However, their warlike nature inevitably led them into conflict, and eventually the various Jiralhanae [[master-pack]]s fell into a massive war known as the [[First Immolation]]. The planet became heavily damaged from the use of [[nuclear weapon]]s and almost led to the extinction of the Jiralhanae.{{Ref/Reuse|waypoint}}{{Ref/Novel|Env}} The First Immolation failed to stop conflict, however, as the [[Battle of Gbraakon]] took place on Doisac at some point after that.{{Ref/Book|EVG|Page=122}} With Jiralhanae society collapsed, by the time the Covenant discovered them in [[2492]], the species had just rediscovered radio and rocketry. ===Covenant era===
After their induction to the Covenant, many Jiralhanae left Doisac to settle on Covenant colonies or live on [[High Charity]].{{Ref/Book|Id=ENC309|Enc09|Page=309}} Following Atriox's rebellion and the formation of a military alliance known as the [[Banished]], as the [[Warmaster]] gained support across the Orion Arm, the Banished [[War Chief]] [[Escharum]] turned his attention to Doisac, hoping to reignite and accelerate the Jiralhanae's progress in all political and military arenas.{{Ref/Reuse|Enc22-446&447}}

During the months of the [[Great Schism]], Doisac was presumed to be a spot for battles between the [[Covenant]] and the [[Sangheili]].{{Ref/Book|Enc11}}

===Post-war===

Although most Jiralhanae returned to Doisac after the war,{{Ref/Reuse|waypoint}} many also continued to inhabit the worlds the Covenant had previously given them; however, due to their lack of advanced technology and their disorganized society, they were unable to obtain resources or even food for themselves resulting in famine, and instead resorted to raids on Sangheili colonies.{{Ref/Comic|Id=Escalation|HE|Issue=1}} The [[Vheiloth|Vheiloth Jiralhanae]] saw the raids as a necessity, while the [[Rh'tol|Rh'tol Jiralhanae]] glorified their piracy as power over the Sangheili for oppressing them.{{Ref/Novel|Id=Envoy1|Env|Chapter=3|Quote=The Rh’tol skein now gloried in the piracy against the former Covenant. It let them show their true strength to the very face of the Sangheili species that had so poorly treated them. The Vheiloth skein saw such looting and destruction as an unfortunate necessity.}} However, Escharum's formative strategy to plating a Banished presence on Doisac before the conclusion of the [[War of Annihilation]] proved advantageous for the military alliance, as the collapse of the Covenant and the volatile political landscape on Sanghelios allowed the Banished to be uniquely positioned to take advantage of the fallout, setting into motion their swift rise to power.{{Ref/Reuse|Enc22-446&447}}

The Jiralhanae on Doisac lacked a strong leader to stabilize them since the Covenant's fall,<ref>''[[Halo Wars 2]]'', [[Phoenix Log]]: Rise of Atriox IV</ref> with the various infighting master-packs putting them at a disadvantage in their [[Sangheili-Jiralhanae war|ongoing conflicts]] against the Sangheili.{{Ref/Film|Id=The Return|[[The Return#Motion comic|The Return (Motion comic)]]}} The [[Children of Oth Sonin]], one of the more powerful [[master-pack]]s in the wake of the war and led by Chieftain [[Lydus]], provided security and provisions to the outlying citadels across across its star system.{{Ref/Book|Id=Enc22p247|Enc22|Page=247}} The [[Voice of Maardoth]] was once a weak tribe by comparison and relegated to Doisac's outlands, but would becoming a powerful and imposing military force as its leader [[Hekabe]] usurped the tribe and killed his predecessor [[Remarus]], leading the Voice of Maardoth to grow in power.{{Ref/Reuse|Enc22p247}} Prior to [[2558]], a powerful military alliance known as the [[Banished]], established before the war by its [[Warmaster]] [[Atriox]], had begun attacks on Doisac, impressing independent clans of the Banished's strength while eliminating rival warlords who refuse to bow to Atriox.{{Ref/Book|Id=H:OSFM5|OSFM|Page=160|Quote=Brute Captains within the Banished lead the terror and raiding packs that extort resources and smash the defenses of the settlements they raid. Due to their failure to install order on Doisac,{{Ref/Reuse|Enc22p255}} and imminent famine on in March 2558 as their supplies ran short, Lydus and his Children of Oth Sonin were willing to attempt peace negotiations with the [[Swords of Sanghelios]] mediated by the [[UNSC]] on [[Ealen IV]], until they were interrupted by a [[Vata 'Gajat's mercenary group|mercenary]] [[Battle of Ealen IV|attack]]. The peace negotiations were left at a standstill.{{Ref/Reuse|Escalation}} Secretly, the Children of Oth Sonin had also struck a deal with the Banished, using the Banished to to take out Lydus' most dangerous rivals in exchange for full access to the shipyards and land under the control of the Children of Oth Sonin.{{Ref/Book|Id=Enc22p255|Enc22|Page=255}} 

By October 2558, a mass power consolidation and cooperation had begun to take form on the planet and its moons under the Banished, leading the UNSC to consider targeted strikes to prevent this unification,{{Ref/Reuse|osfm90}} as Chieftains under Atriox's command spread the power and influence of the Banished across Jiralhanae colonies.{{Ref/Book|Id=H:OSFMp156|OSFM|Page=156}} Atriox himself had become a symbol for the Jiralhanae on the planet to rally behind with many joining the Banished.<ref>''Halo Wars 2'', Phoenix Log: Rise of Atriox VI</ref> Despite this, there were Jiralhanae who rejected joining the Banished due to their hatred of the Sangheili,{{Ref/Comic|RoA|Detail=[[Halo: Rise of Atriox Issue 5|Issue 5]]|Quote=Jiralhanae do not band with Sangheili and give themselves names.}} while others, such as the clans on the moon of Warial, have become increasingly wary of any alliance resembling the Covenant.{{Ref/Reuse|Enc22-446&447}}

Following the [[The Reclamation]] in 2558, many Jiralhanae were unwilling to give in to the new [[Created]] threat. Instead, the Banished united the various clans across the planet and its moons and fought back against the Created.{{Ref/Book|Id=Enc22-446&447|Enc22|Page=446-447}} [[Cortana]] called on the Banished leader Atriox to submit.{{Ref/Novel|Id=Out11|Out|Chapter=11|Quote=Cortana has already used her Guardians to punish a Jiralhanae warlord by annihilating the homeworld of his entire species, and she will do the same to anyone who defies her.}} When Atriox refused her, she responded by sending multiple [[Guardian Custode|Guardians]] to fire beams at the planet, resulting in its [[Razing of Oth Sonin|total destruction]].{{Ref/Level|Id=Repository|Hi|[[Repository (Halo Infinite level)|Repository]]}} With the planet's physical destruction, its shards slammed into and damaged its moons.{{Ref/Reuse|Enc22-446&447}}
