When the vessel was attacked over [[Installation 04]], he, with the rest of his men, made the jump to the surface aboard a [[Human Entry Vehicle]] (While this was not said in the book, it is likely to assume, due to the fact that all ODST's used HEV's to go to the surface of the [[Alpha Halo]]).

During the raid on the ''[[Truth and Reconciliation]]'' he was in charge of gathering [[Covenant|enemy]] [[weapons]] and technology for research.<ref>[[Halo: The Flood]] page 108</ref>
