Halo Infinite has seen a large array of player customization options added over the course of its lifespan. Many options, despite being revealed in trailers, or being usable in Halo Championship Series builds have either never been released, altered prior to release, or have been outright removed from the game's files.

Ambitious Intruder
The Ambitious Intruder armor coating was first seen during promotional trailers and screenshots for the Fractures: Tenrai event in November, 2021. The coating was exclusive to the Yoroi armor core, and featured an indigo color scheme, with black and golden accents. The coating would ultimately go unused. During the July update in 2024, the coating would be made compatible across all armor cores.

Yoroi utility armor
All Yoroi utility armor pieces released with Season 04: Infection feature an asymmetric design. However, all utility armor with the exception of Heaven's Valor were originally intended to be symmetric, having gone as far as having symmetric icons made for them. Eventually for unknown reasons, this would be changed, their icons would be updated, and the utility pieces would have their placement adjusted on the player's character model.

AZECHI
Found through datamining upon the release of Spirit of Fire, an AZECHI bundle was at one point planned for release between January and April of 2024. It was listed at an Epic rarity, and had no description given. Ultimately, the bundle would go unreleased, and the AZECHI helmet and its attachment would be featured in Tenrai IV's Operation pass, with the armor's icons being updated with the release of Banished Honor.

Contract Killer
Contract Killer was a planned bundle for the Spartan Surplus event, later turned Anvil. It was intended to include the Assailer armor, the "Smash and Grab" weapon model for the M41D SPNKr, the Rent Seeker weapon coating, and the Grey Avarice armor coating. The majority of the bundle would be repurposed into free unlocks for the Anvil Operation, with the weapon model and weapon coating becoming instant purchase bonuses for the premium version of the Operation pass. The armor coating would be available through the Exchange.
