When initially conceived, the [[Mantis]] was heavily inspired by the [[HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark I ADS|Mark I ADS]] from the ''[[Halo Legends]]'' short, ''[[Prototype]]''. This armoured exoskeleton was initially concieved to fit numerous roles, mechanics and shapes alongside featuring a dedicated shield.
